Since the water cup is made of copper, it will naturally lose its shine over time. For cleaning you need a pinch of salt, vinegar or baking soda and a slice of lemon. Sprinkle the ingredients onto the lemon wedge and lightly rub the surface of your mug with this mixture. The lemon and salt form a mixture that naturally removes the patina and restores the shine to the copper. Rinse the cup with water and let it dry thoroughly. The inside of the copper water cup also patinas, but this does not affect the quality of the water stored in the bottle. However, the copper mug is not dishwasher safe!
