The “Apple of Aphrodite” - so called because, according to myth, in the beauty contest between the three goddesses Hera, Athena and Aphrodite, Paris presented the latter with a pomegranate as a sign of her victory - is originally native to West and Central Asia and is now cultivated throughout the Mediterranean region . By the way, it is also considered an aphrodisiac, and its appearance and delicious taste are of course true sensual pleasures in themselves. However, the pomegranate guards its treasure well, because if you really want to enjoy the wonderful edible seeds, the deep red fruit pearls, you first have to carefully and skillfully remove the tannin-containing lamellae around them, which would otherwise spoil the enjoyment with their bitter note. That's why it's particularly practical to consume pomegranate in the form of juice.

Graviola juice (organic) is definitely one of the particularly exciting vital drinks at AYURDEVA. This vital drink is particularly interesting because graviola is not yet as well known as many other superfoods.

Turmeric is known as a power tuber and for some time now Golden Milk and other recipes using the spice, which was previously mainly used in curry mixtures in the West, have been booming. “Turmeric is the spice of the moment,” writes Stern magazine. In India, and especially in Ayurveda, turmeric has been valued for a long time and is deliberately used because of its health-promoting properties, which are currently being further scientifically researched in recent studies.
“Turmeric has been used as a medicine in India since time immemorial and still plays an essential role in Ayurvedic medicine today. But turmeric is also important in India as a spice or food; each inhabitant consumes an average of 1.5 to 2 grams of it every day. It is partly due to this fact that diseases of civilization are less widespread there than in Western countries. However, there are other reasons for this, for example that less meat is eaten there and in terms of quantity, much less than here, which means that important triggers for diseases of this type are no longer present." Writes the author Irene Dalichow in the magazine YOGA AKTUELL. And further: “Ayurvedic medicine values turmeric as a natural antibiotic and “hot” spice that cleanses, warms and gives energy. It is combined with pepper and ginger to ignite the digestive fire (Agni). Turmeric is associated with the life energy Pitta (fire and water).” By the way, turmeric is also considered a fat burner and, like chocolate, stimulates serotonin production.
