About the author
Thomas Kinkele was born on October 22, 1949 in Füssen/Allgäu. After graduating from high school in 1969, he traveled the world for three years. In 1975, he founded the company flora perpetua, which initially dealt exclusively with the decorative processing of botanical materials (= external aspect), and then in the 1980s discovered the scent (= internal aspect) of the plant world.
Always searching for the deeper connections between things, Thomas Kinkele's journey took him from Sidharta to Yogananda to the Tibetan Book of the Dead and then into an intensive phase with Castaneda. He practiced with Rosicrucian work in the early 1980s, followed by sweat lodge and self-awareness work, until he came across Jabrane Mohamed Sebnat and the Enneagram in 1990 and found a home in the Sufi path of the heart through this teacher. From 1996 to 1998 he undertook aromatological/osmological training with Martin Henglein (ISAO). Thomas Kinkele repeatedly worked with incense during his journey.
Now he gives lectures, seminars and experiential workshops with essential oils and incense.
