South Indian curry paste with fiery spices, tomatoes and tamarind. Refines dal, vegetables and meat dishes.
To prepare delicious curry dishes in the original Indian style: briefly braise vegetables and/or poultry or meat with onions and fresh ginger in ghee, then add COSMOVEDA Hot Madras Curry Paste (1-2 tablespoons per portion) and simmer until done. (For more flavour, marinate pieces of vegetables, meat or tofu in the curry paste overnight.) For a creamy sauce, stir in creme fraiche, cream cheese or creamed coconut as desired and simmer or simmer for a few minutes. Serve with rice. The Indian curry is ready!
