A grita is a traditional Ayurvedic form of administration in which ghee (butter fat) is enriched with a special herbal substance. Only organic ghee made from hay butter is used for Classic Ayurveda Gritas. Brahmi ghee can be used internally and externally.
In Ayurveda, Brahmi is considered the plant of knowledge of Brahman, the highest reality. The whole plant is used. The Brahmi plant reduces the doshas Vata and Kapha.
