We do not change its natural scent, it is natural and is slightly reminiscent of oily-vanilla cocoa butter. The color is cream to slightly yellowish. Our shea butter is not heated, steamed, or deodorized, keeping it natural and raw. It is made using traditional methods by a women's cooperative in Africa. The nuts are collected and chopped, after which the shea fat is gently washed out.
