body oils
Body oils are an essential part of Ayurveda, because oil massage and daily care with oils (which, according to Ayurvedic recommendations, can also be applied before showering) are, according to Ayurvedic teachings, of inestimable value for well-being and long-term physical youthfulness. High-quality care oils form a large part of the AYURDEVA range.
jojoba oil
Jojoba oil is one of the best known and most popular body care oils. With its relatively high content of provitamin A and E as well as a slight natural sun protection factor, it is indeed very suitable as a care oil. Since it does not feel heavy and greasy on the skin, but rather absorbs quickly and is characterized by a rather light consistency, most people find it very pleasant and prefer it to "heavier" oils. The delicate oil binds moisture in the skin and is also very suitable for impure skin, as it deprives certain microorganisms and germs that could lead to spots or acne of their basis for life.
organic sesame oil
Sesame oil is an oil that is also widely used in Ayurveda. Sesame oil is intensively nourishing for the skin and is often used by Ayurveda therapists as a massage oil and for forehead treatments (Shirodhara). Sesame oil is quickly absorbed and is a real treat for dry skin.
organic almond oil
Almond oil is a high-quality vegetable oil that, like sesame oil, is particularly nourishing and is particularly recommended for very dry and sensitive skin. Almond oil contains a lot of linoleic acid and vitamin E.
argan oil
Among other things, the AYURDEVA range also includes organic argan oil. Word has spread that argan oil is a very special treasure. Thanks to its exceptional care properties, which have a protective and strong skin-regenerating effect, it has become an indispensable part of cosmetics. The argan tree, from whose fruit the oil is extracted, is only found in a certain part of Morocco - and nowhere else in the world. Argan oil is also recommended for scalp care. Anyone with a sensitive, itchy scalp or suffering from eczema at the hairline, for example, should try argan oil - it can often achieve good results.
rose oil
A very special treat for the senses: the organic rose oil! In aromatherapy and Ayurveda, the rose is valued for its cooling and calming qualities and is considered harmonizing and healing on all levels. In Ayurveda, it is also classified as rejuvenating and is recommended as a tonic, especially for women.
organic Inca nut oil
Sacha Inchi oil is characterized by a high content of unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It is very suitable for the regeneration of dry and cracked skin, but at the same time shows that oils can also be good for oily skin, because it also has a balancing effect on oily skin.
coconut oil
Coconut oil is a blessing for impure or damaged skin because it has antimicrobial properties thanks to the lauric acid it contains. It can also be used to care for hair and even to keep vermin away, which many people like to use for their pets in the summer (thankfully, coconut oil can be used instead of the often questionable spot-ons). Just as it is used in food, coconut oil is also highly recommended and extremely popular for external use.
Dashamula oil
“Ten roots” is the literal translation for the Sanskrit word “Dashamula.” And indeed, this traditional Ayurvedic oil contains ten different plants or root extracts that form a grounding, vata-reducing combination.
neem oil
The neem tree is a widely grown and commonly used plant in India (primarily in pest control) and is also used in Ayurveda. Neem oil can be applied to treat eczema and psoriasis.
Brahmi oil
The herb Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) is a highly valued herbal remedy in Ayurveda, which is used in particular to improve memory. Brahmi has been prescribed since ancient times to increase and maintain cognitive performance. Interestingly, this herb is also used to make medicated oil, which is then used to massage the forehead and temples.
Purush oil (for men)
A special Ayurvedic oil for men is Purusha oil.
Kumari oil (for women)
As a counterpart to Purush oil, there is Kumari oil for women, which is specially tailored to the needs of the female organism.
Ayurvedic relaxation oil
For deep relaxation on all levels, the Ayurvedic relaxation oil “Omshanti” is highly recommended, which works with a formula of herbal extracts of cardamom, fennel, eucalyptus and others.
Ayurvedic muscle and joint oil
The Ayurvedic muscle and joint oil from Ashwamedh is based on a classic ancient Ayurvedic recipe that contains, among other things, Ashvagandha and Shatavari.
Nasya oil
The nasal oil specifically for the care of the mucous membranes is recommended as part of the daily Ayurvedic care routine (Dinacharya) and of course has a practical pipette.
body lotion
Body lotion is a must in almost every bathroom. Applying a moisturizing, skin-protecting body lotion after showering or bathing is an integral part of the daily care routine for many people. A wide variety of wonderful lotions can be found in the Ayurdeva range, such as the activating Mint & Cypress body lotion from Primavera, the Silver Lotion from Bioturm and many others.
body milk
Body milk has many fans with its namesake "milky" consistency, because it is easy to apply and absorbs quickly, but is still creamier and richer than gels or thinner lotions. In the Ayurdeva range you will find body milk of wonderful quality, such as the Chi body milk from Pure Elements, the ginger body milk from Cosmoveda or the pampering body milk from apeiron.
Body Butter
Of course, the Ayurdeva range also includes body butter, as it rightly has many fans. The buttery consistency promises a special care experience - a body butter melts on the skin and pampers you all the way. We also offer body butter in a gift set together with hand cream.
Body Gel
Especially in summer, a light gel is the preferred alternative to richer care products for many people. Of course, we have excellent care gels in the Ayurdeva range, for example:
aloe vera gel
According to Ayurveda, Pitta is reduced by aloe vera, and applying aloe vera gel also cools and soothes irritations. It is also very beneficial for sunburn.
Anoint
Ointments such as calendula ointment or zinc ointment are also available in this category. Wound protection cream especially for babies and other special products such as the Mumijo active cream from apeiron, muscle balm or tea tree oil are also part of the range found here.
