Technical data:
Density: (20 °C) approx. 1.03 g / cm³
pH value: (20 °C, 5 g / l H2O) approx. 4-5

Ecology:
Biodegradation: Ethanol also occurs in nature in small quantities. It is rapidly and 100% degradable into carbon dioxide and water when it enters the wastewater. In the manufacturing process of sugar surfactants, parts of sugar and fat are combined in such a way that the internal molecular structure is preserved. This makes it easy for microorganisms to quickly and completely break down these surfactants. Citric acid is a component of the plant, animal and human organism and is therefore quickly and completely broken down 100% into carbon dioxide and water by the microorganisms present in nature. Sugar surfactants are considered to be easily biodegradable according to the OECD.
