Ayurvedic plant substances such as neem and amla fruits are traditionally prepared in almond oil. According to Ayurvedic knowledge, the plant substances can penetrate deep into the skin layers and develop their effect there.

In Ayurveda, the leaves of the Indian neem tree are said to have a protective, nourishing and cleansing effect on the skin. Natural aromatic oils impart a delicate, invigorating scent.
