Over a year in the making, Deva Premal's groundbreaking album features the beautiful Moola Mantra, celebrating the sacred masculine and feminine energies, discovered by Deva and Miten during their inspiring residency at Oneness University in Chennai, India.

Under the direction of Ben Leinbach, known for his fantastic productions with Jai Uttal, the Moola Mantra unfolds under the guidance of Deva's divine singing in a soundscape of sitar, bansuri flute, dotar, strings, piano, tablas and ambient spherical sounds.

Special musical guests include Miten (vocals), Jai Uttal (dotar), Manose, the Nepalese bansuri master who has become an integral part of Deva's live concerts, as well as Kit Walker (piano) and Benjy Wertheimer (esraj).
