Therapy singing bowl - the joint or universal bowl

The joint bowl, also known as a universal bowl, weighs around 900 - 1000 grams and is thin-walled. It has a broad sound spectrum and can therefore provide the whole body with sounds - wonderful for the foot and hand reflex zones. It is characterized by an intense vibration. This makes it particularly suitable for use on joints. If this singing bowl is played with different mallets, the sound character can be changed. This means that with small, hard mallets, this singing bowl becomes very dominant in its overtone chain (all the bright tones are clearly brought out).

With thicker, softer mallets, this bowl sounds much deeper and the strongly dominant low frequencies become audible and noticeable. This bowl can be used with different mallet techniques on the whole body. Hence the name: "universal bowl". If you want to start with a singing bowl, we recommend this one.
