For all textiles made of cotton, linen, hemp and mixed fabrics. Sonett detergent contains pure vegetable soap as its main active ingredient. Soap is the washing substance closest to nature and to humans. Unlike all other surfactants, it has the ability to dispose of itself immediately after use by combining with the lime that is always present in wastewater and is then easily and completely broken down.

Areas of application:
For all colored and white items made of cotton, linen, hemp and mixed fibers from 40-95°C.
Not suitable for wool, silk and microfibers.

Origin and properties of the ingredients:
The main active ingredient in Sonett detergent is soap, which is made from various vegetable oils - palm oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil and coconut oil - by boiling them with lye. The oils are 100% organic or biodynamically grown. Soap as a detergent substance combines in a unique way all the properties necessary for the washing process of wetting, dissolving and carrying dirt. Soda is made from the reaction of lime with table salt. Metasilicate is created by fusing quartz sand and soda. Soda and metasilicate both strengthen the washing lye through their alkalinity and promote the removal of fatty substances in particular. Zeolite A and layered silicate both have silicate rocks as their raw material. In addition to their ability to bind lime in the water, these substances also bind the organic substances and color pigments dissolved in the washing water and prevent them from settling on the laundry. Fatty alcohol sulfate, obtained from coconut oil, supports the soap in its fat-dissolving power.

It is really possible to make optimal use of the individual materials depending on the degree of soiling of the clothing, the hardness of the water and the very individual need for the whiteness of the laundry.
Soft water is an absolute prerequisite for a soap detergent. The modular principle thus creates the basis for being able to use the unrivalled advantages of soap even with harder water.
We do not use flow agents, fillers, optical brighteners, phosphates or enzymes.

Soap made from vegetable oils has the striking peculiarity compared to all other detergent substances that immediately after use it combines with the lime that is always present in wastewater to form lime soap and thus neutralizes its own effect on living organisms (primary degradation).
The lime soap is then 100% broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation).
Coconut oil alcohol sulfate, made from natural, renewable raw materials, remains unchanged in its internal molecular structure during production. It is therefore easily identified and degradable by microorganisms in wastewater and is thus quickly and completely reintegrated into the natural cycle.
The remaining components of the detergent, soda, clay minerals and silicates, are mineral substances that do not need to be further broken down in nature.

According to the OECD, soap and coconut fatty alcohol sulfate are considered easily biodegradable.
